  • How do I place an order? Purchasing aircraft parts has never been easier.  Franks General Aviation Parts.com offers a many aviation parts.  Simply browse our site by choosing the Search Box on the Home Page.  From here, you will be able to view information and pricing for all of our parts.

    How will I know that my order has been processed?

    Once your order has been placed with Franks General Aviation Parts.com, an order confirmation will be sent to the email address that you provide to us.  If you have not received an email at the address you gave on the order form within two days, maybe you should check back by emailing jrfelke@usadig.com asking whether the order has been registered.

    After you get this confirmation, you will get another email within two business days, giving the shipment tracking details for your order.

    Once you have your order confirmation, thereafter there would be no requirement for you to check back on the status of the order.  Your order is guaranteed to ship in two business days.  However, if you placed the order late in the evening, that is after 6 p.m. mountain time, then the order may not ship until three days after that.

     


    How do I check the status of my order? To check the status of an order, you can email us at jrfelke@usadig.com (most advisable method), or you can contact us by calling 406-656-8834 between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (mountain time), M-F.  Please be sure to have your email confirmation available so that you can provide us with your order number.  Usually, there should be no need for you to call us regarding the status of an order.  In case there is an anticipated delay in shipping, we will get in touch with you be email or telephone, explaining the situation.  If you have not heard from us after you placed the order, it means your order is shipping on schedule.  We also send out an email with the shipment tracking number.

    What if I need to return an item?

    Franks General Aviation Parts.Com stands behind every product we sell.  If we have made an error, we will correct it immediately.  If you need to return a product  for any reason,  we will take care of it.  Our return policy is:

    Obtain shipping instructions and a Return Form.  You can contact us by phone (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. mountain time, M-F) or fax/email 24 hours a day.  If you contact us by email or fax, you will receive shipping instructions and a Return Form within two days.  To obtain a Return Form, you must provide us with the following information:

    • Your name, email address, and telephone number
    • Your invoice number or order number
    • The date you received your order
    • The product you are returning
    • The reason for your return

    Please obtain a Return Form within the first 30 days of receiving the order.  There is no return on electrical parts or shelf-life parts.

    Any product that has been opened but is defective can be exchanged for the same product at no charge as long as it is returned within 30 days and a Return Form has been obtained. 


    What if the item I order is not available? If the part/parts that you order is not in stock, we will notify you by email within 24 hours of your placing the order.  We'll let you know when you should expect to receive your order.  Of course, you may cancel your order at any time as long as your order has not been shipped.  If you decide to cancel your order, please see the instructions listed below under What if I need to cancel my order?

    What are your shipping policies? Our shipping policy is very simple.  Your shipping will be the exact cost charged by the shipping companies plus supplies and a very nominal labor charge.  We do not mark up our shipping cost and pass the volume savings from the shippers to you.  For your safety, we will not ship to P. O. Boxes.

    Minimum Order Charge? Franks General Aviation Parts.Com has a minimum order requirement of $35.  Any orders entered less than the minimum order requirement, will be assessed a minimum order fee for the total less than the minimum order requirement.  This does not include shipping.

    Parts Ordered in Error? Parts ordered in error are subject up to a 20% restocking fee, or $20 which is larger.  The maximum return charge per item, will be $250.

    Shipping Errors and Shortages?

    In the event any part is shipped in error by Franks General Aviation Parts.Com, it is returnable to us within 30 days of reception, via the most economical method of transportation.  Please contact us prior to returning any parts.

    Any claim for shortages must be made within 3 days of the shipment, in order for the claim to be processed.


    Parts Damaged in Shipping? For shipments which show definite abuse in transit, such as: knocked-out corners, holes punched in cartons, crushed, broken or open cartons, notations must be made on all copies of the freight bill as to the condition of the shipment at the time of delivery.  All cartons or packages should be opened and contents inspected immediately upon receipt.  If loss or damage is found, an inspection report must be completed by the delivering carrier or their agent within 15 days from the date of receipt.

    What if I Need to Cancel My Order?

    To cancel an exisiting order, simply contact us by phone, fax, or email and request that your order be cancelled.  So that we can update our records, please state the reason for the cancellation and provide us with all of your order information (including name, address, day-time phone number, invoice or order number, tracking number, email address, and date of order).  This will allow us to easily track your order.  Your order will be cancelled as long as it has not yet been shipped.  Unfortunately, if the order has already been shipped by us, it will be too late to cancel.  If this happens, and you need to return the product, do not open the box.  You may return your order for a full refund by obtaining a Return Form (see What if I need to Return an Item).


    Our Internet Privacy Policy: Franks General Aviation Parts.Com is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers.  Any information that we gather from you will remain secure and confidential.

    Information We Need from You: When ordering from Franks General Aviation Parts.Com, you will need to provide us with your name, email address, mailing address, day-time telephone number, credit card number and expiration date.  This information allows us to fill your order and/or provide you with status information regarding your order.

    About Cookies: Cookies are small bites of information that are stored by your browser on your computer's hard drive.  Franks General Aviation Parts.Com does not allow us to recognize each returning customer and their relevant information.

    Franks General Aviation Parts.Com Will Not Sell Your Personal Information:

    We will not trade, sell or rent your personal information (name, address, phone number or company name) to third parties.  There will be no employee access to your customer data.  Franks General Aviation Parts.Com  will not provide statistics to outside companies about our customers, including sales and related site information.

    When you use our web site, you agree to allow Franks General Aviation Parts.Com to collect and use your personal information solely for the purpose of serving you, our customer.  We will immediately post any changes to our privacy policy on the web site so that you are aware of anything that may affect you in the way we disclose information.
